January 10,2010

These pictures were taken on the deserted Wildwood Crest beach in New Jersey. It's a longer walk to the ocean here and on this day the wind was really blowing. In the summer months this beach is packed with people, it is one of the few remaining free beaches. Others in South Jersey require beach tags from Memorial Day to Labor Day. September is the best beach month for the locals, the water is warm and the beaches are empty.

  2. Hi, I also want to thank you for becoming a follower. My blog is fairly new so I appreciate it. I wondered where you get your clams since I also have access to many, and then I saw the Wildwood Crest reference on your blog. My husband I go to Strathmere almost once a week, weather permitting in the summer. There are many clams there too...real beauties. I will follow you too. Thanks, Kathy
