Sea Treasures

My husband and son walked the beach after the blizzard and brought me these Treasures.............

I am so excited by the Conch Shells! They brought me home a huge basket full to the top, and along the waters edge they found these three bottles washed up. The smaller darker one still has the cork in it but the top has been cracked off, it says 6oz on it and has a marking I've never seen before. It even still has the sand in it, I'm not sure I should even clean it. These will be added to all the other sea glass/bottles we've collected over the years. I've never had one with the cork :)

The Conch Shells are Big and Beautiful, and perfect for painting. I can't wait to get them into my etsy shop. That will be my goal for spring!
Don't forget to feed the fish, and follow :)

  2. Oh my...I would be ecstatic...especially about the bottles. I must show my husband the pictures. One year, a day before my birthday, we found an old green coke bottle, turned into sea glass and still intact. It sits in a place of honor on my living room dry sink. You are a LUCKY woman. Enjoy your treasures. They made me smile and remember my happy day. PS We found our bottle in Strathmere, and are you tempted to see if there is a note in the bottle?
