Flip Flops Flyin' in the Walmart

I'm back from a fun filled trip to the market and Walmart, I had somewhat of a meltdown in the shoe isle, picture 3 girls wanting new shoes trying on all different sizes and none having the right size all begging for help at the same time, then Ben (9) following 2 steps behind me saying "can I get this, can I get this , can I get this moooommmmm. Then Holly(16) vanishes with the cart only to come back with all this stuff she "needs" to have, and this happen all within 10 minutes of entering the store and I hadn't even started to shop for real stuff yet. And on top of all that I forgot to get lightbulbs! Now I have to fix lunch and start dinner, the hub will be home at 5 starving I'm sure. The shoe isle gets me every time, I should know better. I'd like to take my headphones and go sit in the sun, but all the stuff needs to be put away. The best part of the day was stopping by the U SELL IT, a huge space where you can buy a table and sell stuff, like a giant flee market every weekend. Well, I met a lady who used to be on etsy and she was really nice, gave her my card. She used to sell vintage here but got sick of the admin but said "your making me wanna etsy again"!!! Maria her name was, I'll let you know if I hear from her again. That was the best part of my day, oh and I bought Easter baskets for everyone, cute ones 7 for 2 bucks!!! I can feel my blood pressure lowering now, it really was a trip from hell in the walmart!

  2. I had a very similar trip to Tesco, prob our Walmart equivalent (minus the shoes). shopping is hell on bank holidays, what happened to the good old days when everything shut? Was glad to get out and get air. Your trip sounds so funny, from my side..lol. Glad my kids are grown and buy their own shoes! Have a wonderful Easter. oOo
